World Health Organization
According to the World Health Organization, in 2021, eight countries accounted for more than two-thirds of global TB Cases. Of these eight countries, Pakistan contributed 5.8% of the global cases (who.int/pak). Pakistan is struggling to bring an end to the TB epidemic and hopes to do so by 2035 creating a TB-free Pakistan with zero deaths caused by TB.
People in Pakistan
Helpingpalms plans to help Pakistan’s effort in alleviating the burden of TB by donating medical supplies corresponding to Pakistan’s TB public health issue. Medical supply donations from Valley Diabetes & Obesity include 1 mL 27G x ½ (0.4mm x 13mm) TB syringes that will directly go towards Pakistan’s efforts in creating a TB-free Pakistan.
